If you've been relying on the mainstream-lame-brain media, you've probably been spoon-fed nonsense about how this OWS thing is a spontaneous uprising of idealistic youngsters. Of course if you've done some independent research (which is most likely the case if you're reading this), then you'll realize OWS is really quite destructive. There are enough videos out there, videos created independently of the "New York Times / Washington Post" conglomerate.
Many of the protesters have no idea why they're out there, except to try to get free handouts from the government. (By the way - remember the Cloward-Piven strategy? Think of that as you watch these videos and see if you can "connect some dots".)
To get an idea of how Marxism has driven the protests, watch this. (Click here if you cannot see embedded video)
This young fellow just wants you and me to pay his college tuition. (Click here if you can't see it)
Hey - let's give him credit for his honesty! But don't think they're just a bunch of harmless goofs. Watch what happens now to an older lady who tried to make her way through one of their mob scenes. She's in the orange jacket. (Click here if you can't see video)
So what does this have to do with the Catholic Church? Well, it seems that the paw-prints of ACORN (under its new guise "New York Communities for Change") are all over the OWS in New York, where this mess had its origins. So much for the "spontaneous" schtick! You remember ACORN, right? That's the bunch that received millions of Catholic dollars, no thanks to the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Only ACORN's various scandals (Rathke embezzlement, voter registration frauds) embarrassed the CCHD enough that it finally turned off that cash spigot. Otherwise, the donations of Catholics would have been helping to fund those are engaging in mob behavior.
However, we have heard enough from both American Life League and the Vortex to understand that problems still abound - problems that could fuel more mayhem such as the Occupy Wall Street mess.
Please boycott the CCHD collection this November!
